  • rehab

I was clearing out a house and I saw this old side table. It was in rough shape, but I could tell it had good, solid bones. I posted it for free and this guy came and picked it up. Before the day was over he sent me a photo of what he had just done with it! Rehabing old furniture is a trend that I can stand behind! Less in the landfill means a more beautiful world for our future generations.

  • reuse

What one person thinks is trash, another sees as an opportunity to refresh an reuse. This guy picked up this old porch swing for his wife. She could see that this will look amazing on their porch once they put a little work in it!

  • reunite

This homeowner let me know, at the beginning of the project, that they were unable to locate their late fathers special watch. It was a gift from his company when he retired! They feared it may have ben stolen in the shuffle with so many people being in the home over the last couple years. I was on a mission to find it for her. After the house was nearly empty, and I was clearing out the last cabinet nearest the garage door, I FOUND IT! I was so excited to tell my client that I found her Dad’s watch! We both had chills!

  • rehome

This family picked up a new-to-them patio furniture set! My client downsized and didn’t need this large set. Off it went! Rehoming is cool!

  • refinish

I found a lovely couple that likes to refinish old midcentury pieces and this one was right up their ally. I knew a piece this special was in good hands with them!

  • reconnect

The very first home I emptied, I posted a free picnic table with benches and tables. I heard back from a man that was looking forward to his son coming home from the Military. They were planning a reunion party for him in their backyard. It was a no-brainer that he should be the person to get his. I have kept in contact with him all these years later and he recently sent me this photo of his yard. You never know who you will meet and connect with. I call this photo a reconnection because of his son, friends and family reconnecting here at this very table!
