why we do what we do

Back in 2018 I was working with a homeowner that needed to empty their family home after their parent moved to assisted living. The rest of the family lived out of state and had no idea where to take all this “stuff”! I came and did an estate sale and gifted the remaining items. I made it my mission to rehome as much as possible with as little going to the landfill as possible. It’s incredible how much can be reused! Some of the people that came by to pick up the free items really touched my heart and that’s when this business was BORN! It came from a need to connect with the people that need things and the ability to help those that could use it. A win win. Since that first project, I have been looking for the people that could ‘use it’ and I am always happy to share my heart warming stories to the homeowner when those moments happen.

Books For The Barrios

I have connected with this outstanding organization that collects books for schools they are building in the slums of the Philippines! They also help receive newly arrived refugees and do what they can to get them what they need. I am always happy to help!

Donation to a family

This gorgeous piano was picked up by a famiiy that was able to get it! What an ordeal pulling it from a downstairs room up and out the side yard into this truck! Straight to their precious little one to begin her craft.
Heart of the Valley

We donate medical devices for Seniors to this incredible organization. I stumbled upon these folks during my first Estate Sale. A lovely gentleman that works closely with them told me about their goal and I am so happy to drop off useful items like walkers and canes. Now that people know what I do for a living, sometimes I get requests from my community. I am always happy to help whenever possible!

Friends of the Library

I love dropping off books at the Friends of the Library! Whatever city I am in, I always find them! One project was so big that they sent over a couple guys and a van! The homeowner was a Book Lover, to say the least! They rolled out the red carpet for this one!

Make It Home

An amazing organization the helps folks get back on their feet! I collect items especially for them! Kitchen, Linens, Furniture, they can use it to set up the apartment for these folks and they get to take it on to their new home after landing the right spot!

Mission Skilled Nursing & Subacute Center

Another great place to donate medical devices! This was our fist time donating with Mission Skilled Nursing and Subacute Center and they were thrilled! We were too!
Workshop Bench for the Church

These guys came to pick up a workshop bench from a home that needed to be emptied. They scored with lots of tools and wood working equipment for their church as well! Their community focuses on fixing and reusing things and this was a great find for them! The homeowner was thrilled to help them out!
Community Member Needed a Handmixer!

Sometimes people in my community mention things they need, since they know my line of work. I heard someone was in need of a hand-mixer and I was thrilled to hook them up!
